PACKAGE 1   $690*

Home Theater Control

Control the equipment in your family room or theater with one remote control.

At a glance, this could be compared to a programmable or universal remote for about the same amount of money… but it is so much more.

THE REMOTE CONTROL: Operates equipment from buttons on the remote, an interactive screen on the remote or through an interface directly on the TV screen. The remote control is RF so the controlled equipment does not have to be visible (or even in the same room) nor does the remote need to be pointed at the equipment in order to operate it.

THE CONTROL UNIT: Is a small unit that will be located with the existing equipment. It requires no other equipment for operation and does not need to be visible for the remote to access. The controller is robust enough to control other systems as desired such as lighting, shades, climate control, security, etc. assuming the appropriate equipment to operate any of these items is also installed.

Benefits

Challenges

Similar in cost to programmable remote.

Professionally installed and programmed.

Can be installed in a cabinet or in another room with no additional control equipment necessary.

Will work with most existing electronics.

Controller provided can control other systems with appropriate equipment in place.

Existing equipment stays where it is currently located (can be moved for cost of additional wiring).

Controller provided is best for smaller control area – if multi-room control is desired, a different controller may be a better option.

Age/type of existing equipment can inhibit complete control.

PACKAGE 2   $990*

Home Theater with Lighting Control

Control all A/V equipment and lighting in your family room or theater with one remote control.

This package includes the same control equipment listed in Package 1 and also includes lighting control.

THE REMOTE CONTROL: Operates all A/V equipment and controlled lighting.

THE CONTROL UNIT:
In addition to the functionality included in Package 1, homeowners can operate lighting in many ways.

CONTROLLABLE DIMMER SWITCHES: Switches look and act similar to a Décora (paddle) switch with the exception of 2 LED indicator lights.

·         Existing switches are replaced with controlled switches – they operate as standard switches with dimming capabilities

·         Lighting can be linked to specific commands generated from the remote – example: when “play” is pushed the lights in the room dim to 20%, when stop or pause is pushed they come up to 70%

·         The controller can act as a timer – example: the lights in the room come on at 75% at dusk and shut off at midnight

·         One switch can be programmed to control other switches in a “scene” scenario – example:  when you enter a dark home at night, pushing one switch will turn on a series of lights on the first floor so you don’t walk into a dark home.
